After having a bad experience at a different curly salon, I was anxious about trying another curly cut, but after reading lots of reviews I decided to give this salon a try. I’m so glad I did! Ellie looked after me and helped me to relax. She took me through every step, told me things I didn’t even know about my hair, she also gave a lovely massage. I was so happy I nearly cried with tears. Finally I feel like I’ve got somewhere I can come to sort my hair out. Many thanks to Ellie :)

I’m not sure if this was just a bad day for the salon as I know someone was off sick and my colour had to be cancelled, but I found the depiction of this place from the website and the reality of it very different. I’d travelled 2 hours to have this appt and had waited for 6 weeks for a slot that I could attend so maybe my hopes were too high. . They did end up fitting me in for a cut which I was grateful for but the communication and feeling of being taken care of in this, wasn’t really there and I was told I could still come about 5 minutes before my appt time. . It felt like everyone was kind of “leaning back” and what I felt mostly is that there wasn’t any solid leadership to give the salon a sense of safety, holding and clarity. I felt like an annoyance and no-one seemed to be really into what they were doing. The cut was pretty good and she took time and care so I can’t fault the stylists skills. The overall experience was just really lacking and as someone who works in a service role I would not recommend this to anyone w anting something new or a needing advice about their hair. If you’re able to roll with the slightly icey, aloof vibe then this place might be for you, but I much prefer a place that feels solid and anchored in what’s it’s delivering and is able to meet you in heart and presence.

Drew was friendly and lovely, I had quite a lot chopped off but it felt good and now I've committed to ditch the straighteners it will be much helathier and I can perhaps grow it longer again.

My stylist was excellent and provided professional and attentive care, however the salon is overcrowded and very noisy. Not a relaxing environment at all!! Very loud especially with experienced stylists doing other customers hair talking very loudly about just about everything !!. Just not a relaxing environment. The only time it was drowned out was when the hair dryer was on!! The salon looks tired and over overcrowded. The aesthetics can be overlooked as it’s the hair care that is important which I cannot fault. However , after two hours of noise I couldn’t wait to leave!!
