I only visited the salon purely on the fact that the specialise in curly hair. It was my first visit to the salon and had only read about it online. I was extremely underwhelmed by poor layout of the salon, and the filth on the floors, walls and ceilings. Considering the premium prices charged at the salon, I was flabbergasted to see cobwebs in most corners of the salon. Matted hair underneath the reception desk (probably about 5mm) and it wasn't something from the same day either... it looked to be stuck to the floor. Hygiene does not seem to be a priority in this salon! don't go!! As for the styling, I was quite perplexed to see that all 5 people in the salon walked out with the same (or very close to) style. It seems to be a one size fits all approach to hairdressing. They've obviously discovered a formula that they all rinse and repeat for all customers. It felt like I was at cruft's and I walked out like a poodle... not in a good way! Now the web site... wow talk about wordy and poorly designed. This salon is all about Instagram and how to look perfect in a repeatable way that rings the till over and over! Overall I would not recommend or return to the salon.

Such a lovely and valuable experience at the salon today. It was my first curly cut and well worth travelling from Liverpool to experience. Paula was fantastic, so friendly, knowledgable and informative. She explained thoroughly every step, every product and technique. Can’t wait to come back.

Very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips. Explained everything thoroughly. The chair and floor area I sat in had hair from previous client, which is an easy fix but wasn't very pleasant. I had to wait quite a long time which wasn't a problem on this occasion as i didnt have anything after but would hope it was a one off(total time in salon for cut,wash,style 2.5hrs) Overall my visit was great, the stylist was spot on and I was happy with the overall result. Thanks!

The experience of having my hair cut here was great. It’s definately a higher quality of service than your typical hairdressers and the knowledge that the team have at Nuala and share is very interesting and useful. I was offered a drink on arrival too which was a nice touch. Very happy with my hair, the the wash experience and the healthy looking glow it now has. The only thing I would say is that clients could be asked whether they want product put in the hair at the end and how much and what style they feel comfortable with, as I have my hair quite natural and although it was interesting to have a different treatment and style it’s not really me.

Would highly recommend. I went in with dry, frizzy hair and came out with beautifully soft, wavy hair. Will be going again!

I have been coming to Nuala Morey for several years. I've used several different stylists during my time visiting the salon and always been pleased with my haircut. The stylists are knowledgeable and I always feel welcomed. The salon environment is pleasant and I feel relaxed being there. Nuala Morey are truly experts in cutting curly hair. Yes it's more expensive but you won't be disappointed coming here. A cut above the rest and best salon I've been to (and I've been to many with my curly thick hair). I'd highly recommend Nuala Morey for all your curly hair needs.
