I was surprised that my stylist offered me a complimentary head and shoulder massage and then did not deliver. I kept thinking it was coming but no! I was too embarrassed to ask her. This was my first time ever in Nuala Morey's and I wish I had paid closer attention to what was being done. I was so relaxed and sleepy during the treatment and service, that I was in my own world. Now I have to try and replicate what happened but I am not sure how. I would love some coaching videos or advice on how to treat long curly hair. My family were delighted with the results and are also very keen for me to try and replicate the look.

Great advice .. great finish tomy hair .. the cut was all I was interested in .. I’m not bothered about leaving the salon with hair full of products .. it’s the cut that is all I am interested in .. so that I can mange it at home etc .. I wanted the front sections of my hair to graduate into the rest .. I didn’t want the hair to be as long in the front as the length ..

I like my haircut but i would prefer if there was an option of making the environment less busy, loud, bright for people like me who find it stressful - kind of like quiet days in the supermarket :). There weren't any other customers when I started but it was still very loud with the staff and the dog. I guess I should have expected it but I hoped it wouldn't be as loud if I came in early in the morning. It's probably more suited to people who enjoy being stimulated but i found it a little difficult. It was nice to have a more quiet experience on the lower floor but there was still too much happening all at once. I liked the hairdresser but she could have been more delicate when going through my hair with fingers. It definitely took me back to the old days when i visited non-curly hair salon, which is not what i expected at a specialist for curly hair. I do like my haircut but I am not sure if I would come back as the whole experience left me with sensory overload and was quite expensive. I do appreciate all the hard work done with the cut and the styling and the drying, it takes a long time and you need the skills to do it all. I would recommend it to somebody who needs to get their first ever curly haircut and want a fun experience (and somebody not afraid of dogs ;)).

I was excited for my visit as it takes so long to get an appointment. The salon was a little chaotic but friendly and welcoming. I think I was expecting miracles but that didn’t happen, I was given advice on how to manage my hair but there are so many products that were used that I forgot half of them, it would of been useful to have them written down and given to me. The overall experience was good and the cut was really good.

Following my appointment with Georgie in July I was encouraged by her to book a further appointment in only 10 weeks. This is sooner than I ever previously booked a cut and earlier than I wanted one, but agreed to follow her advice and booked in a repeat cut with her at the end of my last appointment. I didn't really want my hair cut today as I didn't feel it was necessary, but I wanted to honour the booking. I was quite surprised to turn up for my appointment to find that instead it would be Ali cutting my hair. I wasn't even made aware of this until Ali greeted me at my seat. Ali did a lovely job styling my hair, but I would not have kept this appointment had I been told in advance that the appointment was no longer with Georgie, and feel that this should have been communicated to me as soon as the salon was aware of the change.
