Georgia gave a great consultation and cut thank you to rid me of a lot of damaged hair and cut to my suit new ( to me, 2-3months) curly/wavy style. She also reassured me to persevere with ‘curly girl’ thing even though my hair is more wavy than curly, in the hope once damage recovered, will get slightly better curls/ waves. Perhaps lacking clarity on what my hair could do with or clarityon product recommendations to help protein/ moisture balance. Aside from aveda products used in salon which of course makes sense, so not a big deal. However, the big downfall for me which I wasn’t expecting was how uncomfortable / not fit for purpose the chairs were in the position you were expected to slouch and rest and twist your neck on very uncomfortable edge of seat in order to diffuse curly/wavy hair. Ouch! I do admit I have issues with neck and back, however I don’t think this would be good for any customer’s neck or back and to me, not ok to assume it would be for any client, given it’s quite common for people to suffer with postural/ neck/back pain these days. I hate to complain about anything but I really think would make such a difference to get chairs that could better accommodate curly hair customers for hair drying without coming out with a crick in your neck/back. I was unable to stay in this position for long at all so Georgia was very understanding and we dried mostly upside down. She also explained you had looked into more suitable chairs but that they were too big to get past in the salon. I would definitely like to return as you really know your stuff for curly cuts but the chairs are a big down side for me sorry. I don’t expect you to need to contact me about this, but I hope might be helpful feedback to improve an aspect of your service, which is otherwise great!
