When I was there this week 10/12/14 there was no hot water so they had to rinse my hair out of buckets which was very hard for the staff and I ended up quite wet, this was not the fault of the staff, as I have a lot of hair and needed a lot of rinsing.

Fantastic salon! I am always made to feel comfortable, nothing is too much. All staff are very helpful and offer professional advice where needed. Over the last 20 years I have tried numerous salons across the city with various pricing structures. This is the only salon that I have visited more than twice and that says a lot as I can be extremely fussy. In my experience you get what you pay for. If they're cheap, they are cheap for a reason. Reds is more expensive than most but I'd rather pay for a quality cut and colour that I am 100% completely happy with. I am now a regular customer and visit every 8 to 12 weeks. I've never had a bad hair cut or colour and if you are looking for a particular hairdresser, I would highly recommend Amelia.
