I thought the stylists were very welcoming and made for a calm and enjoyable environment. I particularly enjoyed the communal conversation about a local swan spotted in the alleyway outside the salon. My only critique would be that it would have been nice to have been provided with more advice on how I could care for my own hair in between visits, including affordable product recommendations, but I appreciate that this isn't always permitted.

Though I find the surroundings and the Service provided very good, for what I had done the cost was very expensive! It took less than an hour, I left the house by taxi at 12:10pm, which went all around the houses due to road works, to have a dry cut - not a wet cut (which to be fair I didn’t want anyway but when booking online there is no choice). I then walked, very slowly due to walking difficulties, across the Market Square to the Taxi booking office, waited a few minutes to be attended to, then 10minutes wait, for a taxi home and was home just before 13:00h. The hair alone cost just over £34 to have roughly 4 inches off the length and the fringe trimmed! Unfortunately my pension won’t run to this too often!
