I have been coming to Charlotte for my colour and cuts every 6 months or so for a couple of years and I have always walked out the door thrilled with my consistently beautifully revived hair. Charlotte is an absolute magician when it comes to blending colours and always offers me professional advice with a friendly approach. I wish my hectic diary allowed me the time to have more frequent appointments!

Wonderful salon and staff. However I do think the scattered highlights are a bit expensive.

With regards to the pricing, we offer many service levels which reflect the different amount of years experience and knowledge that the team have to offer, so maybe something to consider is, if you find the pricing of your current technician a little high, we can look at offering you another technician with a little less experience and therefore lower in price. Sally has been cutting my hair for 9 years. My hair is thick and not easy to style. Would not use anyone else! She is in a league of her own. I can recommend the rest of her team i.e. colourists as well.

I don't usually recommend hair salons as I find it a personal thing and what suited one may not suit someone else. I would give my view based on my experience if asked.

Sad not to receive a birthday gift this year 🥲The fumes in the back wash during a shampoo after colour treatments are really strong. I think because air is not circulating due to the panel divides. Makes my eyes water. There have been times where the colour is not sufficiently rinsed off especially back of the neck area.

Hi Alison. Thank you for your review and taking the time to leave us your feedback. We always welcome constructive feedback, be it positive or negative, as it celebrates what we're doing right or gives us an opportunity to try to do things better. Regarding the Birthday gift, we stopped offering the original birthday gift just prior to the pandemic due to not being able to offer the complimentary service, as we were and still are working with less chairs available in salon and less team than we used to have in. We have and we hope you'll be pleased to hear, just started offering a new birthday gift to our Loyalty Club guests, which took affect from mid-November. We hope that you enjoy receiving this on your next Birthday. With regards to the colour being rinsed off at the backwash, we do understand that the panels have certainly restricted air flow in that area; unfortunately this is something we had no choice but to put in place before we re-opened after the first lockdown as we were unable to make space/social distancing between the basins. The doors are opened frequently to ventilate all areas of the salon however the backwash area does get very cold and draughty due to its proximity to the nearest door so maybe is opened less frequently. We do have some great news however; Aveda has been working on the ingredients of their colour and come February we will be able to start using colour which we have been advised, no longer has 'that colour aroma'.
