The scores would have been higher for this visit but it was the fact i wasn't kept informed the appointment before me was running 25minutes late.i nearly left as i was going to be late for something else.

I have had nails done (gel) several times before at Salon 10 - unfortunately this time it was not such a good experience. Two of us were having them done at the same time and we chose the same nail colour so there was extra delays because of only having one pot of the colour. The curing machine was not working properly and although Ashley was attentive, I left with two quite bumpy nails which had begun to peel away within 6 days. Because of having to share machines and gel, the whole thing took 50 minutes. Altogether unsatisfactory- I felt sorry for them as they were getting behind from the 1st appointment of a very busy day but it felt as if she was rushing a bit. She said the bumpy nails would smooth out by the end of the process but they hadn’t. it was not a great experience on this occasion.

I came in for a leg wax and although the therapist was lovely the experience wasn't great. There was wax all over the place including my hands as it seemed to drip from the rollers. THe girl did the best she could. I think you should change your systemn to something less messy

Think attention should be given to training reception staff to be more confidential in details disclosed when making an appointment with customers, especially when other customers are standing close by. In a small town we may want to keep details of some treatments confidential and so not have them discussed by 2 or 3 reception staff in front of other customers/clients.

I came into the salon on the 26th September for a haircut and tint with Jack. I had decided to have layers put into my hair and was told that Jack was the best person for this. He has done a lovely job on the layers but unfortunately i have lost about 8-10 inches off my length, not happy. He did show me how much he was initially cutting off the length which was approx 4 inches which i said would be fine as it was very long and that amount wouldn't make much difference. I feel very upset as it has taken me years to get it to the length it was and i was extremely proud of my mane. I have always cut it myself as every-time i feel that i can trust someone else to cut it they always cut too much off. I know when you put layers in you have to blend them in and i even suggested putting steps in instead as it was so long, so i think that more training is needed for cutting longer length hair. I'm very annoyed with myself for trusting someone else to cut it and will never trust anyone again.

My hair now looks amazing. Was disappointing how long it took for me to be served and found that when my hair was washed the sink dug into my neck making it uncomfortable while water dripped down my face and neck. I also believe the salon felt slightly untidy. Despite this I think the products used on my hair made it look and feel beautiful as they always do.
