Although not a regular visitor to the salon (as I only get my hair trimmed 3-4 times a year), I always love my visit to SGM. I never go anywhere else. It's a really friendly atmosphere and all the stylists make you feel very welcome. You don't get that icey atmosphere where no one talks and everyone stares at you when you go in. I'm Always offered a hot or cold drink on arrival which is all part of the service too. There is also the option to get free parking when visiting the salon as they will refund your parking ticket when you hand in the parking voucher tear-off section. Brilliant. There's always sweeties on the counter too and a large variety of perfumes to test and freshen up with which is a lovely touch. I love the cut and service I get from the top Stylist & owner Stuart. He's truly fab at cutting and taming my tight curly/Afro European type hair and is qualified in how to cut it properly. Before coming to SGM years ago, I used to be terrified going to a hairdresser, but not any more. It's quite a skill to tackle tight curls, but for me personally it's a perfect top rated haircut when I come out looking like I've not had it cut, yet it regains its bounce and vitality, and I still have length left in my hair. This is a fantastic hair salon. I also like the ability to book online so I can book my appointment in the evening when it's more convenient for me. Thanks for the lovely head massage today.
