I find the salon clean and reasonably well presented although a little austere ... I guess you would call it minimalist. My stylist is always friendly and helpful and doesn't ask me the usual inane questions like "what are you doing today" - which irritate the heck out of me. The provision of drinks is good and varied. The hair wash is good and the head massages are a bonus and very relaxing. The heat of the water is sometimes a bit erratic, but that seems to be a perennial problem in most salons. My experience of the salon is good but not in the dizzy heights of some of the salons I have visited over the years ... although I can't quite put my finger on why. That said, it is way ahead of some of the salons I have visited too and at least no-one has yet told me I'm too old for a particular hair style!!

I have spent years trying to find a great hair salon and finally I have! The staff are knowledgeable, professional and - importantly - really friendly. My previous stylist was very expensive but was never able to give me what I asked for, but now my hair looks great again.

Great service as always, feel fantastic after and will always go back. This was the first time I have had colour done and it was tailored so well to what I wanted without me having to say. The people there know what you want and what suits without you even saying-fantastic.

On the whole staff are very friendly, professional and polite. However, on my last visit I felt that staff wanted to get me in and out of the salon as quickly as possible. I usually find having my hair washed a pleasurable experience and put particular store at being given a relaxing massage. On this occasion however the experience was less relaxing with the apprentice scouring my head and digging her false nails into my scalp. The hair technician herself was lovely and friendly but there was no escaping the fact that she was rushing through the cut and styling of my hair. I don't feel she provided me with the cut that I had asked for though I could not find fault with her styling.
