I saw Jennifer for a cut, and the quality of the cut was excellent. She cuts to suit not only the hair, but also cuts to suit the face. I would not hesitate to recommend her- I have difficult hair and usually go home to damp it down and re-dry it after a cut, but would have been happy to go direct from the salon to an event.

It’s such a relief to have found The Cutting Room- pleasant, well managed salon, really comfortable hair washing basins (so many aren’t), talented and friendly staff and a cut that I would usually have travelled to London for. I would not hesitate to recommend to friends/ family.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jennifer- I used to regard going to a salon as a real ordeal and would usually just be waiting for my hair to re-grow so I could try somewhere else. Her cutting is lovely, and she has a real talent for tailoring the shape of the cut to the shape of your face.

A very comfortable and well managed salon that allows plenty of space in these covid times. I would not hesitate to recommend Jennifer to my (very fussy) friends! I used to go to London to try to get a good cut, but have found the Cutting Room in Harpenden to be of a higher quality.

As usual, Ian’s cut showed the most care and really paid attention to my needs. I could not recommend a better hairdresser in the county.
