We are situated in Hook, Hampshire

As usual I cannot fault the service I receive from Kate. Despite me not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair, Kate patiently listed my options and we decided upon a restyle. I am very happy with the result and with the service provided.

It is a warm, positive and super relaxed environment with a very professional attitude from the staff who are all lovely. It is expensive but this reflects their quality. The manager Michael is first class and takes clear pride in his professionalism; the staff have always delivered a great service to me and I would happily recommend it.

Sheena has worked wonders on my 10-12 hour day desk/pc bound back and shoulders. She listened to my problems of on-going aches and pains and together we worked a massage plan that has helped enormously. She is not just an exceptional beauty therapist, but has excellent skills in other areas.

Overall my experience was fairly good and I would like to try the salon again,as it is convenient to wherei live however I do have a few comments on the massage I booked. I had booked a back massage, as I was very stressed and had a lot of tension in my back and shoulders. I felt the therapist did not give me a deep enough massage as she used her forearms, with very little hand and thumb massage. This has resulted in the knots in my back still very much there! Sheena did ask what type of massage I required and I said hard rather than soft. At the time I should perhaps have asked for her to change her style, but to be honest, I did keep thinking it might change. As I say, I would like to give it another try, so hope to be booking again soon.

Thank you for your comments and apologies for the slow reply. We are grateful for your feed back as you help us so much and we thank you for your time. We offer a Swedish type massage and advertise that it is applied with a soft to medium pressure. After discussing your feedback with our beautician she felt that she did not have the strength to apply much more pressure , she also usually asks throughout if a person is ok? I apologise if this did not happen on your visit. I will gladly invite you for a complimentary massage as we have undergone further Aveda training on our massage services and we intend to develop this area greatly in 2015 with a hot stone massage and a New Stress fix Aveda massage being added to our services . On a personal note from me as someone who has a massage regularly myself I have found that have needed to go to Sports massage practitioners to receive a deep and strong massage to relieve the tension and knots that develop in my shoulder area as I do suffer like your self .Please do take us up on our offer and come in for a relaxing complimentary massage at your conveiniance
