I went for the first time to Rye Retreat some 7 weeks ago and was not happy with the result: wished blond highlights like i had - but half head too white and yellow -, came again the next day to show it but because of job commitments i had to report the date suggesting to put a toner on and was very unhappy about this but job is job, so not the fault of Rye Retreat. Then yesterday, because in anyway, it was time to make again highlights, i came back and was incredible unhappy after highlights and toner as it became white/grey, we ash color and i never asked for this, having enough natural in this color. The person caring was a little upset and after using another toner (with lots of shampooing in the meanwhile) she said, she will get another person and went....i got a talk with the person in charge and it cannot look that way, grey and white and only on the half head...the rest was the blond i wanted to have/to keep. She suggested another toner, i said no as it was really hurting on my head and i suggested to make highlights in one of the colors she showed me. then i had 2 people using a dryer to dry the hair as for putting highlights, you have to have dry hair. Clear of course, but i also always go from the hairdresser without using in my life a dryer myself and was not really happy to enjoy the full procedure after several shampoos and drying. I also mentioned my fear that after 2 toners, i could get a complete different color with the highlights but after more than 4 hours, i could leave with well saying a not too upsetting result. I did not get the hair cut as i wanted by booking the appointment as i had to go to work and even took a taxi to be on time. Well, i do not know how to feel; from the time i was complaining, i felt like a bad customer and they were trying to help but had the feeling, i was not welcome; why should i say, i do not want a third toner and had to suggest with the highlights: i mean, they should know and offer the right suggestion. That is their business and not me the customer should try to find a solution. I was so afraid to go out with that ash/grey/ white color i had after the first toner...
