Since moving out of London some 13 years ago, it has taken till now to find a hairdresser who totally understands me and my hair! I have flipped from Hairdresser to hairdresser until 2 years ago when I booked a chance appointment at the rye retreat with Nicko. Nicko is completely deaf but his care and ability to sense what works well is nothing but brilliant. My hair is not easy. It used to be dead straight and shiny but since turning 40 it has turned frizzy and dry and generally looked a mess. Nicko has transformed my hair and turned the frizz into bouncy fun curls and added a balayage look to give it a more edgy look. I am so pleased and would not think of going to anyone else since finding him. Well done the rye retreat for hiring him - he’s a huge asset to you.
