I love the experience at Rye Retreat, you really do get the best service and I always leave feeling relaxed! Big fan of the little things, like shoulder massages before your hair wash - lovely unique touch!

I have known about the Rye Retreat for years but got put off some years back by the attitude of the reception staff then. However this time it was very different. I had been given vouchers as a birthday gift so went to use them and was treated very differently. The only comment would be that it did feel like I was sitting in a very long row and therefore not very personalised and therefore a bit like a factory line. The chairs you sat on to have your hair washed were really not that comfortable in the small of the back so had to ask for a cushion. Especially after having a lovely head and neck massage to relax you. So suggest they get some nice branded cushions for these chairs to simply resolve this issue. Otherwise no complaints about the cut and blow dry or staff that treated me.
