Always a pleasure to visit Rye Retreat. The friendliest, loveliest people and gorgeous salon and garden - it’s always a treat to be a client and I used to dread going to the hairdresser! You always give me sound advice and listen to what I want and aren’t gender-normative like most salons. You just let me and my partner be ourselves. Thank you!

I find going to the hairdresser quite stressful as a rule - unlike most other women. This was my first experience at the Rye Retreat,Lisa spent a long time discussing my hair and what I wanted and was very astute at deciphering my answers. She took a long time to get the cut right and I really appreciated the time she spent with me. I was really pleased with the result - especially as the colour was perfect and even this morning - the curls still look good. Lisa was very informative and gave a lot of aftercare advice I will definitely return . Thank you so much.
