Both Natalie and Lucy for my hair and pedicure were excellent! And the young lady who gave me a hand massage was excellent too!

Although more expensive than a local salon (£50 incl tip for a cut and blow dry) I really appreciate the luxury of the environment and the inclusive shoulder massage. I called in on the off chance of an appointment and was fitted in within the hour. Didn't get a hand massage this time (hope you haven't stopped this added perk). All the girls are friendly and professional. The only reason not to recommend you is the price

A visit to the Rye Retreat is a 'real treat'. And why not pamper yourself? Sure you can get cheaper haircuts in town, but its nice to come out feeling a little 'special' and well looked after by the charming and expert staff. :)

I usually have Natalie but had to have a different hairdresser on this occasion (Ruby) and I was not aware of the hierarchy of hairdressers when a new name was offered to me so was surprised when my highlights were more expensive than usual. I know understand the stylist/ senior stylist differentiation but I think it would be helpful if the price of the service you have asked for is stated when you book/ or customer should be reminded of it. I am always very happy with the service overall and my hair. Lizzie

I've used the salon a lot and the head and neck massage is a real bonus but some people take more time and put more effort into it than others
