I always enjoy visiting the salon. However today I didn't really like having my hair done in the front area when there was room in the the main salon which has a more relaxing atmosphere.The front area was originally reserved for male customers looking for a more no frills experience but now seems to be used for any customer.

I love the Rye Retreat, although its expensive, it is the best beauty salon in the area. My usual Therapist Melissa was not available for my visit today and I was allocated a therapist who was less experienced. Although it was, as always, a relaxing treat, I came away slightly less satisfied than usual. My skin did not feel much improved at the end of my treatment and I don't consider that to be value for money. I am not saying the therapist did a bad job but Melissa is so much better for me personally. I will make sure I book in advance in the future so I can get the therapist I want. That said, the young lady was pleasant and professional throughout and I am sure she has many satisfied customers.

Relaxing treatments but a bit disappointed that after waiting an hour for my nails to dry they smudged and this unfortunately ruined the look of the pedicure
