Visiting the salon on Christmas Eve when your stylist was dressed in an inflatable Santa costume was such a fun experience to add to the already wonderful service.

The girl massaging and washing my hair needs a bit more training. Very perfunctory massage, not really worth the bother. Almost like she was frightened. She struggled getting organised with a towel and gown. Ditto the hair wash. But haircut with Louise exemplary as always.

I have used Rye Retreat for years. It's such a comfortable, place and I always get a quality haircut even when my regular stylist isn't available which is normally because I don't book in advance.
