I had an appointment to see my usual hairdresser for a cut and highlights but unfortunately she was unwell. I was called in the morning to advise me of this, but that someone else would be able to do the appointment that day. I was very apprehensive and nervous about seeing anyone else as I tend to have quite difficult hair. I decided to go ahead and saw Ruby who was lovely and did an amazing job of highlighting my hair and understanding what I wanted to achieve. Followed by Petar who gave me a great haircut. Thankyou

I had a really enjoyable appointment at Rye Retreat this afternoon. The receptionist was friendly, attentive and helpful as soon as I arrived. My stylist was on schedule and knew what she was doing. She made me feel relaxed and confident during the consultation ahead of my cut and managed my expectations really well. I got the exact cut that I wanted and some valuable hair care advice which I will definitely heed in the future. The conversation was top notch, not a mention of the pandemic or usual ‘holiday’ chat at all, it was really refreshing to actually have a decent discussion in a salon, not easy with masks and hairdryers, but she did it perfectly. Oh, their coffee is yummy too - they have my future custom for sure!

After experiencing a relaxing massage, I would certainly recommend Rye Retreat. The atmosphere is calm and rooms are beautifully decorated. Followed by a lovely haircut. I certainly felt pampered. Thank you Ciara and Rhianna.
