Sophie gave me a relaxing massage prior to my treatment. It was nice but could have been better, felt like she only rubbed my right shoulder blade a number of times And held my arms several times

Prices are rather inflated for a small country town. Everyone thinks Rye is rich - it isn't. My old stylist in a central London salon is now only £6 more expensive than someone of the same caliber at Rye Retreat. Otherwise it's a very pleasant experience...

I usually have Natalie but had to have a different hairdresser on this occasion (Ruby) and I was not aware of the hierarchy of hairdressers when a new name was offered to me so was surprised when my highlights were more expensive than usual. I know understand the stylist/ senior stylist differentiation but I think it would be helpful if the price of the service you have asked for is stated when you book/ or customer should be reminded of it. I am always very happy with the service overall and my hair. Lizzie
