I was greeted by the nail technician as soon as I walked in the door. She was beautiful and friendly, but never introduced herself until I asked at the end of the service. She did a very good job with my pedicure and asked me to take a look a couple of times to get my satisfaction, which I really appreciated. She made the adjustment to cut my nails a little shorter without question. I also had a brief interaction with another nail technician and the manager of the salon both of whom were very friendly and welcoming. The salon was small, but not unusual for London standards. The manicures and pedicures were in the same small room in the very back of the salon and was uncomfortable at first because everything said can be heard, but the friendly staff made it fun. The space could be more inviting if they were not using the business space as storage. There were boxes on the chairs where they shampoo hair and in the empty pedicure chair next to me, making me feel claustrophobic at times in a confined space. The manicurist commented to me that the foot rest where you put your feet/legs was broken. So why not fix it or possibly use the other chair being used for storage? I made it difficult for the manicurist and not as relaxing for me. I booked the appointment online never having seen the salon based on location and reviews. I scored low on the cost per value because the price indicated on their website is £40 for 45 minutes, but they charged me £45. When I checked out, I thought perhaps I had transposed the cost with the time, until I confirmed it when I got home. They need to update their website or charge the correct rates. Finally, I will go back and try some of their other services because the staff was much friendlier than most London establishments and they accomplished what I went in for, a good pedicure. They seem eager to please their customers.
