I think you need to think how you relate locally to people. For example, urban city areas like Nottingham have a diverse population - with different textures of hair that need different hair cuts, different make up. In term so make up it is difficult to find shades that suit Indian skin from my personal experience. Your adverts need to be more local having pictures of people of different diversities (not just white or afro caribeanns). You also need to think how you reach out to the women who have greater disposable income - middle aged or elderly - your adverts do not reflect this age range. Please please not all skinny beautiful women and men..... You can get data on population and ethnicities on most council websites now - you could pitch it to them. I enjoy the salon; like the ethos etc... and your hair dressers are always good. Though they do need to be careful about stating I drunk loads and got an hangover... I was glad that hair dresser was not doing my hair!!
