I have visited Urban Therapy before and had a cut and blow dry that I was really happy with. Unfortunately the stylist wasn’t on the website to book with anymore so I booked in with someone else. I felt too embarrassed to say before I left the salon but the quality of the blow dry was quite poor. I asked for the front pieces to be swoopy and voluminous but they were flat with no shape and styled with hair straighteners. The underneath of my hair that could be seen from the front was all frizzy and kinky. My hair also looked and felt quite greasy. My hair is naturally quite curly and so I do find it difficult to find a stylist that can do a good blow dry so I was really disappointed to not have the same outcome as I first did at this salon. I chose a stylist that was experienced with curly hair. I wanted to wait until I’d washed my hair myself and styled it naturally to see if I’m happy with the overall cut which I am, it’s just such a shame that the blow dry wasn’t great as I was going to an event that night and so had to go home and restyle it.
