If there had been disabled facilities such as a Wheelchair friendly bowl for hair washing, then it would have been tens across the board, but because of having to drop the back of my wheelchair, and balance on my back wheels using my neck to have my hair washed, was not quite a pleasurable experience for myself, and /or the poor Student who had me dropped in their lap, so to speak. The poor Student just kept apologising and although they treated me with the utmost care and attention and gave me a fabulous hair cut, i could feel the tension within them, of not having had training with a disabled person in salon, or had training in class before. BUT it wouldn't stop me from coming again. In fact i have booked another appointment, with the same student. I just hope that with time, the salon Staff and Students incorporate disabled hair styling as a whole.
