There are only two things which slightly marred my visit (and they are slight): when I booked I only booked a root re-tint as I had forgotten about the highlights (I have a medical condition which affects my memory) but this was not picked up by the person taking the booking (despite having a card with each visitor's previous booking details) so while not earth shattering, I do wish I could have had the 'full monte' as usual. Also, I was told that I should have mentioned I wanted my hair dried/styled afterwards. Eh? In the decades of attending hair salons I have never once seen anyone have their hair done and then leave with it wet and flopping. Surely it is the most basic common sense that having a hair treatment is going to necessitate a drying session at the end? I was told that the time for drying needs to be factored in the appointment time (I understand this fully) but, again, surely the salon, the professionals, understand this and would/should allocate this time as an obvious? None of this altered the fact that when I left my hair looked lovely (as it always does when I visit Zeitgeist) and the staff were very nice and pleasant (as always). It just left me feeling rather niggled.
