I have had two treatments at this spa and will not be returning again. My first visit was a good experience but I was unable to use the Lavish voucher I was given as a gift as I was told the voucher had not been activated. Hence my second visit to use my voucher. I rang twice before my appointment and both times asked about the voucher and was assured there would be no problem using it. Hence my surprise on arrival to be told they no longer accepted Lavish vouchers. I was offered the possibility of leaving some of my treatment out but opted to pay the extra as this was a rare treat. Imagine my surprise when I phone the spa today to be told they do accept Lavish vouchers. In addition the treatment was carried out by a therapist with a heavy cold (someone blowing their nose every 5 minutes was hardly a relaxing experience) and being charged £15 for 4 minutes in the infra red room with one of the heaters not working was not satisfactory.In general Cove Spa I will not be returning and I will be advising as many people as possible against you also. The booking was taken as 1pm and you requested that the treatment was moved forward to 12 45 by which time the person using the infra red room was there. This does not address the fact that the room was inadequately heated. I spoke to two people regarding the voucher last week and have called again this week. Each time I have been assured you accept the vouchers. I am sorry but this is unsatisfactory and as you suggest no way that you can "make this up" I find these sentiments empty.
